A 14-year-old lady was allegedly repeatedly raped for 2 months by a person from her neighbourhood in Haryana’s Gurugram, police mentioned on Wednesday.
The accused kidnapped the lady 4 days in the past and subsequently, her members of the family discovered her close to the Bilaspur chowk on the Delhi-Jaipur freeway late at evening. The lady narrated her ordeal to her members of the family and on a criticism from her father, an FIR was lodged on the Bilaspur police station.
In accordance with the criticism, the accused lives in the identical neighbourhood as that of the lady in a village positioned inside the Bilaspur police station limits. He lured the lady, a Class-8 scholar, on the reassurance of marriage and repeatedly raped her for 2 months, the criticism mentioned.
“On July 8, the accused kidnapped my daughter. We discovered her late at evening and introduced her residence. On Tuesday, she informed us the accused had raped her and threatened to kill her members of the family,” the lady’s father mentioned within the criticism.
The FIR was lodged underneath sections 363 (punishment for kidnapping), 366A (procuration of minor lady) and 506 (felony intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and part 6 of the Safety of Youngsters from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, police mentioned.
“We’re conducting raids to nab the accused,” Inspector Ajay Kumar, the station home officer (SHO) of the Bilaspur police station, mentioned.
